The Host Destination Partnership
The host hotel, host destination, and sponsors partner with La Cita to promote travel from Latin America and the Caribbean. Because attendance at La Cita is by invitation, sponsors and partners actively participate in defining and recruiting potential delegates. When possible, partners use the event as an extension of their sales and marketing efforts: transportation companies provide transportation, air carriers provide tickets (and discounts), hotels provide rooms for media and other VIP’s.
Sponsorships include two prominently positioned offices on the business floor with up to four delegate registrations (value $7K), signage at the event, logo included on the cover page of official program and on web site home page, and recognition in official messaging. Additional branding opportunities may apply. Includes right of refusal for following year.
2017 Host Organization Sponsored Luncheon: The following year’s destination city hosts a luncheon for all delegates to build excitement for next year’s venue.
Delegate Lounge: This is an oasis on the business floor: a place for delegates to congregate, to meet, and relax. This includes coffee and water for all delegates and is open on August 31st, and morning of the September 1st. Sponsorship includes space for a major display and up to 6 delegate registrations. Fee does not include beverages, set ups, staffing, furniture, electrical and other services required to make this an event-long center of hospitality.
Delegate Bags: This will be one delegate bag you will want to keep. Bags are hand-made by Challenge Enterprises (providing employment for intellectually challenged adults). Fabric is special-ordered from Mexico. Receive platinum benefits plus recognition with your embroidered logo.
Sponsorships include one free (with one paid) prominently positioned offices on the business floor with up to two delegate registrations (value $3.5K ), signage at the event, logo in official program and on website home page, recognition in official messaging. Includes right of refusal for following year.
Official Name Badge: Your logo on the name badge: Right in front of every delegate throughout the event.
Wifi for Each Delegate: Be the Official Wifi Sponsor for La Cita 2017! Delegates are directed to a splash page and then prompted to use the password featuring your company to connect to wifi every time they log on.
Special Visa Update / Briefing by US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs: This high level briefing is well attended by buyers, media, and supplier delegates seeking critical information on the rapidly evolving process of visa qualification and issuance. The presentation is delivered by a senior State Department official and includes Continental Breakfast.

Orchids on the Desk: A fresh flower for each office including a card identifying you as sponsor.
Platinum level sponsorship. Includes ten round-trip tickets for staff travel as needed. The Air Carrier Partner becomes an active partner in the recruiting and transportation of buyer delegates. Each buyer would be an important business opportunity for the carrier’s business development and could be co-invited by La Cita and you. Buyer transportation would be free positive space or reduced fares. Special zone fares could be considered. We prefer that these partners offer fares region-wide. We would consider a country by country proposal.
The region's three major publications play an important role in La Cita as Founding Partners. Their support includes buyer and supplier recruiting, editorial and advertising support, at no charge.
