CAPA Americas: Executives outlined potential of Latin America as an air market for all segments
Peter Cerdá, Regional Vice President for the Americas of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), along with Gisela Escobar, Vice President of Corporate Affairs of LATAM Airlines and Carlos Ozores, Director of ICF, presented their vision of the Latin American market during the panel 'Focus on key markets: From the United States to Latin America', during the first day of the CAPA Americas 2019 Aviation Summit, which ends this day in Denver, Colorado, United States.
Among the points discussed, the executives referred to issues that are gaining strength in the region, such as the proliferation of low cost airlines, countries that have improved their open sky conditions and joint ventures that have improved interoperability between airlines, connectivity, frequencies, availability and benefit especially travelers.
